Peasant Top - Maternity Style

This is the only piece of clothing I made for myself while pregnant with Molly. If I had to do it over again, I'd make some decent fitting pants, which are hard to come by.

It's an extremely easy-to-sew bell-sleeved peasant top with a tie back from Simplicity 5756.

I love the style of it but didn't end up wearing it much because it felt too light and billowy, especially for a winter top, due partly to the light weight of the seersucker and partly to the fit. Also, the wide sleeves look nice but are cumbersome and, you might say, dangerous while cooking!
