Spotted Tunic

This is the darling "kukkopilli" tunic from Ottobre 1-2009-7. "Kukkopilli" is Finnish for a rooster birdwhistle, as I learned here.

This is the second version I made for 3-month-old Molly. I'll post the first version later.

I used spotted quilting cotton and a ready-made bias binding for the neck.

Lacking a serger/coverstitch, I've been trying my hand at French Seams lately. They're a little time consuming, but the clean finish is worth the effort.
